Amsky keeps going forward in CTP market

From 1994 to 2013, CTP has entered China’s market for 20 years.

In the middle of 1990s, overseas CTP devices and plates penetrated into China’s market and brought tremendous changes to China’s prepress production. At the same time, the overseas CTP suppliers raked in large profits from the industry.
This has also promoted the development of domestic CTP device and plate manufacturers. They quickened their pace to catch up and recapture the market shares from the overseas CTP suppliers through independent innovation. Meanwhile, several competitive domestic CTP manufacturers have emerged.
In 2007, when the market competition in CTP industry turned white-hot, Guangzhou Amsky Technology Co., Ltd. (Amsky) brought the “whole process service and CTP leasing service” to the market. Amsky has become the first to successfully integrate CTP sales with continuous CTP service, which offers customers an applicable CTP sales mode with high-quality equipment, low entry threshold and low cost.
By virtue of it, Amsky has emerged as one of the major promoters in driving China’s CTP technology.

Lay a solid foundation
It’s not a favorable time when Amsky entered the CTP market. It can be described as a chaos. Under this situation, Amsky rose abruptly from a professional vendor of prepress device to a CTP manufacturer with independent capability of R&D in just a few years. So how does the company make it?
According to the recollection of Manager Chen, market director of Amsky, when Amsky was a vendor of CTP device, Amsky established strong and loyal customer base, built up good reputation and deepened its understanding to prepress device. At that time, Amsky realized that some device manufacturers can’t meet the demands of companies in some respects which become the entry points that help Amsky achieve its upgrade successfully. Soon afterwards, Amsky made great efforts to step into the R&D and production of CTP.
After that, Amsky developed two core competences sparing no efforts. The first core competence is the “strong independent R&D and sustainable innovation capacity”. According to Manager Chen, different from many domestic manufacturers, Amsky’s core technologies entirely rely on independent R&D rather than third party development. “With an enviable R&D team, we have won more than 20 patents since we entered this industry, including dynamic autofocus technology which has won the 2012 National Outstanding Patent Award."
And the second core competence is the unremitting pursuit of “creating the perfect user experience” that makes Amsky proud. “Whenever it is in the stage of research and development, manufacturing, or service, we always give top priority to the user experience. We know deep down that the perfect user experience is the key to winning the market competition.” Maybe Amsky’s concept is not profound, but it’s not easy to practice it in a down-to-earth way over the years. Thanks to this perseverance, the rising star can win good market recognition.

Enhance service quality
Amsky regards the "user experience" as the core competence for the development of the company and attach great importance to the service, an important part of the user experience. On overseas market, Amsky takes "Service First" as its marketing strategy. At present, Amsky’s products have been sold to dozens of countries and regions around the world. Before entering each market, Amsky provides professional and systematic training to build a keen-witted and capable service team for the local agents. Meanwhile, Amsky has also set up an overseas technical support system to offer timely technical support with the fastest speed for users worldwide.
In China, Amsky’s service is more accessible and convenient. In Shenzhen, for example, Amsky had installed more than 100 units in Bagualing Industrial Zone alone where many printing companies cluster around. In order to provide quality services to users in high concentration area, Amsky set up technical service centers with well-trained, experienced team of technical engineers to provide customers with the quickest and most efficient technical support and after-sale service.

Development bottleneck
As a start-up, Amsky’s growing is not an easy trip. Now the company encountered a problem.
"To Amsky, capacity is the biggest bottleneck the company has encountered", Manager Chen said frankly that the current capacity is enhanced greatly compared to 2010, but it is always overloaded due to the continuous emergence of new technologies and new models and the brisk market demand. Although the production division of Amsky worked together to improve the capacity and the delivery cycle has been shortened significantly, so far, the production capacity still couldn't catch up with the market demand.
Actually, Amsky’s unwillingness to shorten the delivery time is the result of strict requirements on quality. “We will never compromise quality for quantity,” said Manager Chen firmly.

Rosy 2013
"Affected by the domestic economic environment, people are pessimistic about domestic CTP market in 2013, but in our opinion, the CTP market in 2013 will remain strong growth momentum, and the growth rate is bound to be higher than that in 2012," said Manager Chen, " The snow-flake-like orders received by Amsky in the first quarter confirmed the forecast." Amsky is full of confidence to the development in 2013.
Next, Amsky will make all efforts to prepare for China Print 2013 to be held from May 14th to 18th. “On the exhibition, we will release the latest research achievements which take the lead at home. Even at abroad, there are only a few companies who can develop similar products independently.” Amsky didn’t disclose the details on the product, but Manager Chen pledged that the latest collection of products will redefine the performance of CTP and set a new standard in user experience. He enthusiastically invited visitors to have a personal experience in Hall E1, Booth E100.
In fact, this is only “another beginning” to Amsky. In future, Amsky expects to make better achievements by continuous R&D and innovation and mastering the most advanced core technologies.
Growing from a beginner and now a major force in CTP industry, Amsky’s outstanding market performance is the result of strict requirements on quality, the unremitting exploration on innovation, the continuous improvements to service, the continuous investment and establishment to service network and the close attention to user experience.

“Sometimes people say success is a matter of chance. To us, success is a certain outcome resulted from our arduous efforts.” This is exactly what we can see from Amsky.
